Pricing
Your price is based on the weight of your shipment, the distance between homes, your move dates and any extra services. We list each charge separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Ask your coordinator which estimate type fits you best. A binding or not-to-exceed estimate gives you a price you can plan around.

Delivery windows
Long-distance deliveries are scheduled as a date range because distance, driver hour limits and weather all affect arrival. You will have your delivery window in writing before loading day.
Need a specific day? Ask about guaranteed-date and expedited service.
Protection
Federal rules give you two levels of mover liability on interstate moves.
The more comprehensive option. If an item is lost or damaged, the mover repairs it, replaces it with a similar item or pays its current replacement value. Applies unless you choose otherwise in writing.
The basic option, included at no additional charge. Liability is limited to 60 cents per pound per article, whatever the item is worth.

Generally, a move that crosses state lines or travels more than a few hundred miles. Moves between states are regulated federally, which gives you specific rights as a customer.
Often, yes. Sharing space on a truck keeps costs down for everyone, and each shipment is inventoried and kept separate. If you want a truck to yourself or a guaranteed delivery date, ask about exclusive-use and expedited options.
Yes. Many customers pack their own boxes and leave furniture and fragile items to the crew. We can also pack everything or only certain rooms.
We use a smaller shuttle truck to carry your goods between your home and the long-haul truck. Tell your coordinator about narrow streets, low bridges or parking limits so it can be planned and quoted in advance.
Payment terms are written on your estimate and bill of lading. Your coordinator will explain the accepted payment methods and when payment is due before you book.
Let your coordinator know as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to adjust your schedule, and storage is available if your new home is not ready.
